Terms of Service

1. Nature of the Service

Smart Plot Uganda provides land listing, documentation and verification support services. We are not a firm of advocates and nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice.

2. Verification Status

A “Verified” badge indicates that our team has completed a documented boundary and registry check on the date shown. It is a record of the checks we performed, not a warranty of title, and it does not replace your own independent search at the Ministry of Lands.

3. Your Obligations

You agree that all information and documents you submit are true, complete, and lawfully yours to share. Submitting forged or altered documents may be reported to the relevant authorities.

4. Documents and Confidentiality

Documents you upload, including National ID copies and title deeds, are stored in a non-public location and are accessible only to authorised verification staff.

5. Payments

Deposits and purchase payments are agreed directly between vendor and purchaser. Never transfer funds to any account not confirmed in writing through this platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Ugandan law, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid to us for the service in question.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
